  Blended Learning

The FACE IT! trainer training element of the project incorporates the use of Blended Learning to complement face-to-face delivery at national and international training events. The use of Blended Learning maximises support for adult learning practitioners by offering the facility for virtual collaboration between practitioners located across Europe through the use of an online learning platform. In this way, functions such as forum and real-time chat services, file upload and transfer capabilities, blogs, etc can be accessed.

This model of trainer training enables access to peer and course support as well as encouraging autonomy, independence and control over learning, according to individual circumstances and timescales. Further guidance for those attending trainer training is also offered through the FACE IT! handbook and CD Rom.
